{"id":208,"date":"2013-03-02T16:27:36","date_gmt":"2013-03-02T16:27:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=208"},"modified":"2023-05-04T15:02:57","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T15:02:57","slug":"scottish-shortbread","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=208","title":{"rendered":"Scottish Shortbread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Creator:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Granny Murray<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In Advance:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350\u00ba<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup unsalted butte<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup confectioners sugar 10<\/li>\n<li>2 cups unbleached flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Process butter and sugar together until fluffy<\/li>\n<li>Add flour sifted with salt and baking powder, process until well combined<\/li>\n<li>Press into 9 inch square pan<\/li>\n<li>Prick dough in pretty pattern with tines of a fork, pushing the fork to the bottom of the pan<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Top should be slightly colored, not golden<\/li>\n<li>Cut cake into small pieces still in the pan while hot.
