{"id":244,"date":"2013-03-02T17:04:40","date_gmt":"2013-03-02T17:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=244"},"modified":"2023-05-04T14:57:38","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T14:57:38","slug":"apricot-foldups","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=244","title":{"rendered":"Apricot Foldups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dough:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 pkg 8 oz. cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>1 cup butter<\/li>\n<li>1 TB milk<\/li>\n<li>1 TB white vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pulse flour with butter and cream cheese intil crumbly. Add milk and vinegar and pulse until mixture holds together. Divide until 4 balls and wrap in saran. Refrigerate for at least two hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Filling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12 oz dried apricots<\/li>\n<li>2 cups water<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cover apricots with water in saucepan. Add sugar and bring to the boil. Turn off heat and let cool in the liquid. Drain well.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 400\u00ba<\/li>\n<li>On lightly floured surface roll out each ball of dough 1\/8 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch squares.\u00a0 Pat each apricot dry with a paper towel and place in the center of each square. Fold each corner into the center and pinch together TIGHTLY to seal. They will look like little pillows.<\/li>\n<li>Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 15 minutes until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool<\/li>\n<li>Glaze: 3\/4 cup confectioners sugar 10x mixed with 1 TB water<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle on slightly cooled cookies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>Notes:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Makes about 40 cookies<\/li>\n<li>These are really rich and delicious if you like apricots. They make a good christmas cookie.
