{"id":259,"date":"2013-03-02T20:00:07","date_gmt":"2013-03-02T20:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=259"},"modified":"2023-05-04T15:03:12","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T15:03:12","slug":"linguine-with-tomatoes-basil-and-brie","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=259","title":{"rendered":"Linguine with Tomatoes, Basil and Brie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>B&#8217;s Notes:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our summer classic<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 to 6 portions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 ripe tomatoes cut into 1\/2 inch cubes<\/li>\n<li>1 lb Brie cheese, rind removed, torn into irregular pieces<\/li>\n<li>1 cup cleaned fresh basil leaves, cut into strips<\/li>\n<li>3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely minced<\/li>\n<li>1 cup plus 1 TB best quality olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2 1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 lb linguine<\/li>\n<li>freshly grated Parmesean cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine tomatoes, Brie, basil, garlic, 1 cup olive oil, 1\/2 teaspoon salt and pepper in a large serving bowl. Prepare at least 2 hours before serving and set aside, covered, at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Bring 6 quarts water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 TB olive oil and remaining salt. Add linguine and boil until tender but still firm, 8 to 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Drain pasta and immediately toss with the tomato sauce.
