It&#8217;s excellent<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>In Advance:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><\/strong><\/em>Preheat oven to 350\u00ba<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Filling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>2 medium onions, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 lb mushrooms, sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 TB flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup light cream<\/li>\n<li>1 TB cognac or sherry<\/li>\n<li>S &amp; P<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Saute onion in butter until soft<\/li>\n<li>Add mushroms and saute 5 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Add flour, stirring until it disappears, then add cream. Bring to boil, stirring.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in booze and S&amp;P. Let cool while making pastry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pastry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix oil and milk together and add to flour and salt. Mix with a fork.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out between sheets of waxed paper then fit into glass pie pan<\/li>\n<li>Blind bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00ba<\/li>\n<li>Add filling and bake for 30 minutes until puffed and golden<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creator:\u00a0 Unknown:\u00a0Chip brought this recipe home from France one trip.
