{"id":56,"date":"2012-11-02T19:24:45","date_gmt":"2012-11-02T19:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2023-05-04T14:31:10","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T14:31:10","slug":"caramelized-fennel-soup","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tildenave.com\/?page_id=56","title":{"rendered":"Caramelized Fennel Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This dish is great in the winter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong><em>:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 lbs fennel bulbs, trimmed and minced<\/li>\n<li>6 TB olive oil<\/li>\n<li>sea salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Bouquet garni ( generous bunch of rosemary, thyme, parsley and bay leaf tied securely with twine)<\/li>\n<li>1 quart vegetable or chicken stock<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0Recipe:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine fennel and oil. Sweat , covered, for 10 minutes over low heat<\/li>\n<li>Lift lid and cook slowly over low heat, stirring, until brown and caramelized. DO NOT BURN<\/li>\n<li>Add stock and bouquet garni and simmer 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove herbs .
